Holiday Shipping Alert

            Please be aware that the holiday season in recent years has been increasingly over-strained by the exponential growth of online shopping.  Each year has been worse than the previous year, and this year is by far the worst, and the shipping companies' desperate attempts are being overwhelmed.  One example how bad it is, UPS and Fedex are having to rent moving trucks to supplement their own fleets. There is much information regarding this online, but in summary,  expect an increase in delayed shipments and try to get orders in earlier. 

            For our part at Kcats, we can only ship the packages on time.  After that, we have no control over delays during the shipping process.  It doesn't matter which shipping company is used, it's a problem across the entire shipping industry.   We have always stood behind express shipping guarantees, so long as the shipping company provides us with a shipping refund for late packages, then we'll pass any shipping refund on to the recipient.  It takes approximately 2 weeks to process a shipping refund, so please notify us of any late shipments and then contact us again in a few weeks to confirm status of refund request.  

 

 

Holiday Hours:  We are closed December 25th for Christmas, and January 1st for New Years.  In addition, from now until New Years, our cut-off time will be 3pm CST Monday-Friday and 10am CST Saturday, due to early package pickup times by shipping providers during the silly season.  Normal business hours (see below) will resume January 2nd.  Please be aware that the combination of Holidays and winter weather, shipping delays are much more likely to occur this time of year.  We will always do our best and ship packages on time, however we have no control over the weather or shipping infrastructure, so we recommend ordering a day early if possible, just in case.  Our normal business hours are: Weekday cut-off time 4:00pm.  Saturday cut-off time 11:30am.  Orders received before the cut-off time will ship same day.

 Payment Update:  We currently only accept COD payments through UPS.  Other payment methods have proven to be too volatile.  We do waive the COD fee, and we have lowered prices across the board since we don't have to pay processing fees.  Furthermore, we have free shipping bonuses available, depending on the size of the order, and a 10% preferred customer discount for our regular customers after placing 5 orders (please include a note with your 4th order requesting discount code).
